About
Fall Cookie Decorating has residents decorating fall themed cookies in a relaxed, welcoming environment where they can take a break from academic responsibilities, especially with exams before break, express their creativity, and connect with other residents. This program encourages residents to practice self-care, build friendships, and create a stronger sense of community within residential housing. This program supports emotional wellness by encouraging stress relief, creative expression, and relaxation. It also promotes social wellness by allowing residents to meet new people, strengthen friendships, and feel more connected to their residential community.
Learning goals:
1. Residents will identify at least one creative activity they can use to manage stress and support their emotional well-being.
2. Residents will engage in positive social interactions with peers to strengthen relationships and foster a sense of belonging within the residential community.
3. Residents will recognize the importance of balancing academic responsibilities with relaxation and self-care.
