About
• Our weekly tournament takes place in Room 324 of the Smith Student Center. Take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor, and head the opposite direction of the Ballroom, the door to the room will be on the left side of that hallway going towards the Theater.
• The doors to the room open at 6:00 PM. Registration for the tournament will close at 6:55 PM, and Round 1 matches will be called at 7:00
• If an attendee is not present by 7:15 without informing a TO, they will be disqualified into the losers' bracket. Failure to arrive by 7:30 PM will result in disqualification from the tournament. Attendees who do not wish to enter or do not arrive on time are still more than welcome to stay, spectate, and participate in casual play once more consoles become vacant
• Tournament entrants are expected to have their own controller (Some people bring spares, but we personally advise that you avoid banking on somebody bringing one), and encouraged to bring a setup consisting of a Nintendo Switch with Smash Ultimate, and a TV or Monitor to play on. A GameCube adapter and DLC fighters are also encouraged.
• Smash at the Rock follows a Double Elimination format. If you lose a match, don't give up! You'll have a second chance in the lower bracket, but everyone else wants to stay afloat, too, so give it your all!
