About
Hawaiian Hula is a gentle, low-impact, holistic dance practice that promotes well-being. Participants learn basic steps and nature-inspired movements while exploring Hawaiian culture, storytelling, and myths in an outdoor setting. As a form of ‘meditation in motion,’ hula engages both body and mind, cultivating presence, peace, happiness, appreciation of nature, and a deeper connection to self and others. Hawaiian Hula is led by Amanda Todd, Ph.D., Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology and Geography.
