Gather your Gratitude. A Teaching Documentation Workshop

LOCATION: This roundtable will be at our new location in the Center for Innovation in Lifelong Learning and Teaching (CILLT) headquarters. Please follow this link for details on how to access CILLT on the third floor.
As you look towards the end of the semester and a season of busyness, carve out this one afternoon to engage in reflection about your teaching, and get a head start planning how you’ll document all of the great things that happened this semester. During this structured workshop time, participants will consider what they want to capture from a future course and what they might already have from a past course that’s just languishing in a folder somewhere. We’ll start with a review of sources of evidence as outlined in the Teaching Quality Framework and showcase ways to organize your own documentation workflows. Then participants will have time to gather materials and reflect on positive student feedback. Attendees will be invited to share with colleagues and celebrate each other’s successes. As always, this session will conclude with a happy hour and informal socializing.
Participants are asked to bring a laptop and come ready to organize and write!
