Build a company in 90 minutes. Ship something a stranger could use tonight.

The Tandon Graduate Student Council and ALINE Network are bringing a 4-hour evening build competition to NYU Tandon. Come alone- that’s the best way to attend. You’ll be matched at the door into a team of four with people you’ve never met, each holding a different role: CEO, CTO, Product and Trust, and Go-to-Market. Then you’ll build a working product in 90 minutes using AI tools like Claude, Lovable, Replit, Bolt, v0 and Cursor.

A twist constraint is revealed live, so nobody walks in with a finished project. The top 5 teams demo their live product to the judges, with no slides allowed.

What you walk away with: • Face time with about 15 founders, investors, big tech operators and senior consultants, all in the room • A matched speed networking session, so you meet the people relevant to your goals, not just whoever’s nearby • Three new collaborators and a shipped product with a live URL for your portfolio • Prizes: one-on-ones with each judge, warm introductions from their networks, an introduction to AI Circle, and a cash pool of up to $1,000

Panel and judges include: Dr. Ulrich Keller (GTM, OpenAI; former Chief of Staff, Google), Nicole Maffeo (Co-Founder & CEO, Gambit Robotics; former Google AI Research), Albert Chun (Founder & CEO, AI Circle), Katrina Barry (Founding Partnerships & Growth, General Legal, YC26), and Neel Gajiwala (NYU MS CS student and AI engineer).

Who can join: NYU Tandon MS and PhD students, plus select undergraduate seniors. Free to attend. Dinner's provided.
