About

Our stories. Our strengths. One Mountaineer community quilted in purpose A Mountaineer Week Community Art Project

Stop by and decorate a fabric quilt square to represent one of your CliftonStrengths. You might draw a sun for Positivity, a heart for Empathy, a lightbulb for Ideation, or any symbol that represents what your strength means to you.

Fabric markers and other decorating materials will be provided. No artistic ability is needed—just come as you are and create!

Inspired by West Virginia’s Appalachian quilting traditions, the completed squares will be joined into a community quilt and displayed in Evansdale Crossing. Together, they will reflect our shared Mountaineer culture and WVU’s land-grant commitment to helping students discover their purpose and use it in service to others.
