About
Do you have a practical vision to foster peace, address root causes of conflict, or build sustainable community solutions—either locally or internationally?
The EXC2EL Center is proud to launch Texas State’s involvement in Projects for Peace, a national program dedicated to supporting student-designed grassroots projects. Whether addressing social cohesion, environmental justice, health access, or conflict resolution, this initiative empowers undergraduates to translate innovative ideas into real-world action over 8 to 10 weeks this summer.
Join us for a brief 30-minute overview to explore peacebuilding frameworks, learn how to partner with community organizations, and discover how EXC2EL will guide you step-by-step through the proposal process.
Who Should Participate?
• Open to all full-time undergraduate students across every major and discipline (including graduating seniors).
• Open to all nationalities and citizenship statuses.
• Proposals may be developed by individual students or collaborative teams.
