About
Join us for an informative presentation with guest speaker Kathy Sarmiento, SHINE Liaison, as she breaks down the Medicare program and how it may work for you. The Florida SHINE program’s Medicare 101 session answers all your Medicare questions - minus the confusion.
Receive answers to the following key questions:
• When am I eligible, and when should I enroll? • How do I enroll, what does Medicare cover, and what are the costs? • How do I use Medicare.gov to compare plans and prices?
Our guest speaker will also explain how the Alliance for Aging assists individuals with long-term care costs, which are not covered by Medicare. A University of Miami Benefits Administration representative will be in attendance to answer UM benefits-related questions.
