What happens beyond the meal?
Join the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE) for Beyond the Meal: Exploring Hunger & Community, a two-day local Bulls Service Break with Feeding Tampa Bay.
During this experience, students will learn about food insecurity and its impact on the Tampa Bay community while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at how Feeding Tampa Bay works to address hunger and support our neighbors.
Throughout the two-day experience, students will:
🍎 Participate in hands-on service with Feeding Tampa Bay 🏢 Tour the Feeding Tampa Bay Causeway Center 💡 Learn about food insecurity and the communities Feeding Tampa Bay serves 🤝 Explore how community organizations respond to local needs 💬 Participate in guided reflection and discussion
This experience is designed to help students learn through service, connect with the Tampa Bay community, and reflect on their role as engaged citizens.
No prior service experience is required—just a willingness to learn, serve, and connect!

🎯 Who Should Participate? USF students interested in community service, civic engagement, leadership, food insecurity, and making a difference in the Tampa Bay community.
