About the Center for Just Environmental Futures: The Stanford Center for Just Environmental Futures (Futures Center) advances rigorous scholarship, education, and collaboration at the intersection of justice and sustainability. The Center brings together faculty, researchers, students, and community partners to address the intertwined challenges of environmental degradation, climate change, and inequality—recognizing that environmental crises exacerbate inequities, inequities fuel environmental crises, and enduring solutions must strengthen both human dignity and ecological resilience.
