About
Join Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion (IEI) and the Office of First-Generation Support and Engagement on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 1pm in the First Generation Student Lounge (Student Center, room 219) for Roots and Real Talk.
Being the first isn't easy, and doing it while navigating college as a student of color can feel isolating. Roots and Real Talk is here to change that. Join us for a chill, honest space where first-generation students of color can come to talk, laugh, vent, and build real connections. Our special guest for this program will be Dr. Keesha Cameron from Student Counseling. Open to all Hofstra students, faculty and staff.
