About
Purple Express Packing Party is a festive service event focused on spreading holiday cheer, compassion, and support to survivors of domestic violence. This program is based on Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated’s All Things Purple Christmas Z-HOPE initiative. Participants will come together to create Christmas care packages filled with essential purple-themed items such as washcloths, toothbrushes, toiletries, and other personal care necessities.Along with packing essential items, participants will write uplifting and encouraging messages to remind each recipient that they are supported, valued, and not alone. This event provides an opportunity for students to celebrate the spirit of giving while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families within the local community. All completed care packages will be donated to the Guilford County Family Justice Center.
