About

Thursday Night Lights is a Southern-inspired football tailgate experience designed to bring Howard University student-athletes and the broader student body together in a relaxed and social environment. The event will highlight Southern food, football and tailgate culture while creating opportunities for students to interact with student-athletes outside of traditional athletic games and competition.

Students will enjoy a catered selection of Southern-inspired food while participating in tailgate-style activities, games, music and opportunities to connect with student-athletes from across Howard Athletics. The event will create a lively Thursday night atmosphere that celebrates the culture surrounding college football while encouraging school spirit and community across campus.
