About

Support cancer awareness while helping Relay For Life make a difference. The CHANTchella Cares: Lapel Pin Competition encourages student organizations and campus departments to purchase cancer awareness ribbon lapel pins in support of fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society. This competition promotes friendly rivalry while contributing to a meaningful cause.

How to Participate

• Purchase cancer awareness ribbon lapel pins from the Relay For Life Team in the LJSU Rotunda.

• Organizations may purchase as many pins as they wish. Each pin purchased will count toward the organization's competition total.

• Individuals may choose from a variety of cancer awareness ribbon pins, while supplies last.

• If participating as a student organization or department team, a visual marker will be displayed above the group's designated window for each pin purchased.

Pin Costs

• Each cancer awareness ribbon lapel pin is $5.

• All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society through CCU Relay For Life.

Points

Teams will be ranked based on the total number of pins purchased.

Competition points will be awarded as follows:

• 1st Place: 300 points

• 2nd Place: 200 points

• 3rd Place: 100 points
