A Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) prepares students for far more than traditional studio careers. Today's creative professionals are in demand across industries including design, entertainment, technology, marketing, education, museums, and entrepreneurship. This interactive workshop will help students identify career paths aligned with their interests, understand the skills employers seek, and develop strategies for turning their artistic talents into rewarding careers. Participants will also learn how to market their work through portfolios, résumés, LinkedIn, and networking.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, students will be able to:

• Identify a variety of career opportunities available to BFA graduates.

• Recognize the transferable skills gained through a BFA program.

• Connect artistic interests with industries and occupations.

• Develop a plan to gain experience through internships, freelance work, and networking.

• Create an action plan for launching a successful creative career.
