Foreign Policy at the AI Frontier: How AI is Reshaping Progress, Power, and Peace

About

Join us on November 18th, from 5:30 to 6:30pm, for the launch of Branka Panic's new book, Foreign Policy at the AI Frontier: How AI is Reshaping Progress, Power, and Peace - a comprehensive guide for anyone navigating AI's transformative impact on diplomacy and foreign policy. Organized around three themes, the book traces how Progress and Power are being reshaped by geopolitical competition, the rise of Big Tech as quasi-sovereign actors, and threats from lethal autonomous systems to AI-driven cyber warfare — before turning to Peace, with real-world applications of AI in diplomacy, peacebuilding, and crisis management, and the Global South's growing role in shaping AI's future. Blending case studies with ethical reflection, it closes not with predictions but with aspirations: how nations might navigate AI rivalry and redirect these technologies toward peace. This is not a book about tomorrow; it's about preparing for tomorrow by understanding the choices we make today. Whether you're a diplomat, a technologist, a student, or a citizen navigating a changing world, join us for a conversation about shaping - not merely inheriting - an AI-transformed world.
