About
The Bilingual Language and Literacy Investigative and Networking Group -NYU Chapter (BLLING-NYU) is partnering with Lenox Hill Early Childhood Center for our annual Lovin' Lit and Languaging event taking place November 6 from 11:00am -1:00 pm.
You can be an undergraduate or graduate student in CSD or related educational fields, and can be a user of only English or bilingual in any language - though based on prior years, we have mostly needed Spanish speakers in addition to our English speakers. Based on previous experiences, we need at least 6 volunteers, and we would benefit from having three who are users of españoles :-)
Note that it is mandatory that you attend or watch a 'co-planning/ training session provided on zoom (or watch the video). And that you must commit to be present the entire time which includes set up and clean up. But, we promise you it's a wonderfully uplifting event!
