Academic & Study

About

Join us for an introductory workshop on archival research designed for college students presented by Melissa John, Research & Instruction Librarian at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University! Featuring Bloomfield College’s origins as an immigrant-serving institution, discover how primary sources can deepen your understanding of the past. Learn how to locate, navigate, and interpret archival materials–from letters and photographs to manuscripts and historical documents. Whether you are beginning a research project or simply curious about working with archives, this workshop will introduce you to practical skills and resources to help you get started.
