About
Flags for Florida Heroes is part of Student Government’s annual Veterans Week programming. On Tuesday, November 10 from 12 to 3pm, we will set up at the Plaza of the Americas and invite students to help plant American flags across the lawn, with each flag honoring a Florida service member. The display stays up through the afternoon so students walking through the Plaza can see it. Students can stop by at any point during the three hours, and no registration is required. The goal is to create a visible tribute in a high-traffic part of campus during the week of Veterans Day and give students a simple way to participate.
