It’s that time of the year! The Student Excellence in Cybersecurity Club (UBSEC) is looking for passionate, driven members to take the helm and lead our community. Whether you want to coordinate epic hacking workshops, network with industry professionals, or help grow UB's cybersecurity presence, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

As a student-run organization, our success relies entirely on the dedication of our Executive Board. Step up, share your vision, and help us make the next semester our best one yet!

Open Positions:

• President: Oversee club operations, lead meetings, and serve as the primary representative for UBSEC.

• ⚡ Vice President: Assist the President, manage internal operations, and ensure events run smoothly.

• Secretary: Handle communications, take meeting minutes, and keep our Discord and mailing lists active.

• Treasurer: Manage the club budget, handle SA (Student Association) funding, and coordinate event purchases.

How It Works:

• Election Day: Candidates will have 2-3 minutes to give a quick speech on why they are the best fit for the role, followed by a brief Q&A.

• Voting: Voting will take place anonymously in person directly after the speeches.

• Date: November 20

• Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
