About

Diwali is the festival of lights and is one of the most popular and widely celebrated festivals across the Indian subcontinent. This festival is usually commemerated with families and friends getting together, sharing ethnic food, distributing Indian sweets, wearing one’s finest colorful outfits, exchanging gifts, and creating rangoli designs (sand art). At Rice, we would like to bring this festival to all Rice Owls who wish to learn more about Diwali and partake in some of the festivities we have planned.
