About
This event will serve as the fourth General Meeting (GM) of the semester for [Consulting Group Name], focused on building the final client presentation and effectively delivering it. The session will cover how to structure a consulting deliverable, including how to synthesize research, hypotheses, and analysis from prior GMs into a clear, compelling narrative that answers the client's original business question. Members will learn best practices for slide design and storytelling in a consulting context — such as leading with the "so what," using the pyramid principle to structure recommendations, and avoiding data-dense slides that obscure the key takeaway. The meeting will also focus on presentation delivery skills: how to present confidently and concisely, anticipate and handle client questions or pushback, and adjust tone and structure depending on the audience (executive stakeholders vs. working teams). To reinforce the material, members will likely practice presenting a portion of a sample deck, either individually or in small groups, and receive real-time feedback from peers or club leadership. The goal is to tie together everything learned throughout the semester — research, hypothesis development, and analysis — into the final and arguably most important skill in consulting: communicating recommendations persuasively and clearly to a client.
