About
Are you interested in using collections in Yale's special collections libraries, but aren't sure how to get started? This session is for you!
Join librarians from Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library to learn how to search for, request, and access special collections in the library's reading rooms. Every participant will come away registered as a Yale special collections user and ready to request the items they'd like to see.
Pre-registration for the session is required and partcipants must be 18 years or older.
Aren't able to attend? No problem! You can become a Yale special collections user any time, and we are always ready to help. To learn more about registering and requesting collections, see Using Special Collections.
Instructors: Alison Clemens, Director of Access Services and Operations; Jennifer Coggins, Community Engagement Archivist.
Please meet in the lobby and then the group will proceed downstairs to the reading room for the session.
