About

Join the Beekeeping Club for our weekly meeting in the Plant Sciences Building (PLS) room 4102! New members are always welcome and encouraged to attend! This meeting is for general discussion, updates on our bees, and other bee-centered conversation. You are encouraged to come to a Monday meeting before coming out to work with our bees during a Saturday meeting, but we welcome anyone of any skill level (especially new-bees!) to get hands-on experience with bees!

Join our Discord for the most up-to-date information and announcements on event details. Also feel free to reach out through our TerpLink page or email for more information!

The Mission of The Beekeeping Club is to educate students about bees and beekeeping through hands-on experience and lectures, about harvesting raw products from them in sustainable ways, and about turning those raw products into a variety of goods. The Beekeeping Club seeks to offer anyone with a curiosity or passion for bees and beekeeping the ability to participate in beekeeping regardless of their skill level or prior experience and to guide them in learning more about bees and the role beekeeping plays in a sustainable world.
