About
Join ACM on Friday, November 6th @ 6:00 PM in MOR 294 for an introduction to the Computer Science Senior Project, with presentations by UAH Lecturer James Williamson as well a former student who has completed the project!
Senior Project: Team Software Design (CS 499) is the required capstone project for all Computer Science majors pursuing their Bachelor's degree at UAH. Unlike a typical course, Senior Project centers on working with a team to design and develop a software application over the course of a semester, guided by a set of project requirements.
This event will feature a presentation by James Williamson, followed by a former student's perspective on the course. It will touch on what to expect and potentially look into completed & ongoing projects. We'll discuss the team-based development process, the expectations of the course, and what it's like to take on a semester-long software project.
Whether you're a CS student preparing for Senior Project or simply curious about what goes into a major software development project, come learn more and hear firsthand experiences. Free food will be provided as well!
This event is hosted by ACM at UAH and is open to the public.
