About
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED WITH THE TABLETOP TOUR BEFORE!
TTRPGS are social games that promote teamwork, communication, problem solving, creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities all disguised as a lighthearted game sure to make you laugh. The Tabletop Tour D&D one shots series is designed to be beginner friendly while giving experienced players unique stories and mechanics to bolster roleplay. No prior knowledge is needed to engage in creating and experiencing a story at our table. No two evenings spent together are alike. From negotiating with werewolves to protecting endangered species, the ALVS tabletop tour empowers everyone to leave their stress behind and explore unique narratives in the realm of fantasy.
A maximum of 6 players can sign up, reserve your spot today, try to RSVP as early as you can to give the Game Master (GM) time to prepare for the proper number of players! If you reserve a spot, please understand that it is a commitment to be there! Seats are limited and taking one and not showing up to the event prevents others that might have wanted that spot from playing for no reason. These kinds of games only work when we come together and our GM has time to plan for the number of players that will be at the table.
Timeline:
3:30 PM - Soft Start - Join us to receive an overview of the game play (world, characters, story themes, etc) with our Game Master (GM), André. Getting set up takes time, and he encourages everyone who can to show up as close to 3:30 as possible.
4:00 PM - Latest time to arrive to review your character sheet and have your questions answered by the GM unless you have a class from 4:00-4:50.
4:30-5:00 PM - Latest time for Game to begin, we will start sooner if everyone who reserved a spot shows up earlier
The pace of roleplay is never easy to judge and varies from group to group. Sessions are designed to run for roughly 4-5 hours but this is only an estimate
CHARACTER CREATION: Players are welcome to come prepared with a character of their own creation using any D&D 5th edition (2014, not 2024 5e revised) sourcebooks published by Wizards of the Coast other than Unearthed Arcana using a point buy system for stats at 76 total points. Characters brought to the sessions should be ready to play at level 4. However, prebuilt character sheets are provided to any players who don't have the time to explore the complexity of character creation on their own.
