Mr. Burns, a post-electric play

Anne Washburn Score by Michael Friedman Lyrics by Anne Washburn

Presented by Dava White Endowed Theatre Department Production Fund

November 20-22, 2026

Bold, inventive, and unlike anything you’ve seen before, Anne Washburn’s Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play imagines how storytelling survives after the collapse of civilization. Blending dark comedy, pop culture, and theatrical spectacle, this thought-provoking play transforms a shared memory into an epic new mythology. Experience this daring and unforgettable production in November at the OSU Department of Theatre.

Mr. Burns, a post-electric play is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
