About

SBIMUN XVII is a collegiate Model United Nations conference hosted at UC Santa Barbara. Students participate as delegates representing countries or political actors in simulated international committees, where they debate global issues, negotiate with other delegates, draft resolutions, and respond to diplomatic challenges. The conference includes General Assembly, specialized, and crisis-style committees designed around contemporary and historical international issues.
