Operation Christmas Child Club Packing Party

About

Operation Christmas Child Packing Party

Join the Operation Christmas Child Club at NC State for our annual Packing Party! Come spend an evening packing shoeboxes filled with small gifts and essential items that will be delivered to children around the world.

What is Operation Christmas Child? Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that collects and delivers shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in need around the world. Each shoebox is packed with fun toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other thoughtful gifts. Along with the physical gifts, the shoeboxes are an opportunity to share the hope and love of Jesus with children and families.

What happens at the Packing Party? At our Packing Party, students will work together to pack shoeboxes using items collected and purchased throughout the semester. You’ll get to see how the items come together, help choose what goes into each box, and prepare the finished shoeboxes to be sent off. No previous experience is needed, and you do not have to be a member of the club to participate!

Whether you have participated in Operation Christmas Child before or have never heard of it, everyone is welcome. Come bring a friend, pack some shoeboxes, and help make Christmas special for children around the world! ❤️
