Volunteering & Service

About

We will be scrubbing headstones and placing flags at veteran headstones the weekend before Veterans Day. We also plan to paint the Gold Star Mothers' Memorial crosses and potentially the flag pole and metal gates at the front of the cemetery. There are at least 40 service members buried there whom were lost during combat operations from WWI through Vietnam, many being former K-State students, with over 2000 total veterans being buried there. We will meet at the Gold Star Mothers' Memorial Saturday Nov 7 at 9AM. --- Event Details: (link below)
