Thomas Molley, PhD Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder OxyLo

Tom is a materials scientist and bioengineer working across hydrogel design, enzyme engineering, bioprinting, and stem-cell-derived tissue models. He completed his PhD at UNSW Sydney in 2022, and was an F32 postdoctoral researcher in the Engler Lab at UC San Diego from 2023 to 2025. In 2024, Tom co-founded OxyLo as the CEO, a San Diego biotech that builds enzyme-based technologies for controlling oxygen and drug production in the cellular microenvironment. He invented the company’s core enzyme-microcapsule platform and prodrug development system that underpins the locoregional cancer therapy in development.
