Join Faces of Pathophysiology for a conversation with a family member of a patient with cancer about their experience supporting a loved one through serious illness and hospice care. Following the first-year healthcare proxy event, this discussion will explore advocating for a loved one, navigating care decisions, and honoring their wishes. We will also be joined by members of the patient’s care team, including the attending physician, Dr. Goldberg, and medical students, to discuss their roles at different stages of medical training and how they support patients and families through communication and compassionate care. Dessert will be offered! This is a medical-student only event.
