About
Faculty Annual Activity Reports (AARs) provide an opportunity to reflect on your accomplishments, document your contributions, and highlight the impact of your work over the past year. Beyond serving as a record of activities and achievements, the AAR can be a valuable tool for discussing your professional goals, identifying areas for growth, and exploring future career opportunities at URochester. In this workshop, we will examine strategies for preparing a strong and effective AAR that clearly communicates your successes in teaching, research/scholarship/creative pursuits, service, and other professional activities. Participants will learn how to use the AAR as a framework for productive conversations with department chairs, deans, and other academic leaders about career development, promotion pathways, leadership opportunities, workload planning, and long-term professional aspirations. Maggie Graham, Associate Vice Provost, will lead the discussion and respond to questions.
