Mexican cartels are high resource, innovative enterprises. Tactical innovations often focus on circumventing counter-cartel approaches, increasing lethality, and bolstering capabilities against rivals and security forces. The rapid and ubiquitous nature of cartel innovations near the Southern Border presents a persistent challenge to U.S. law enforcement.

To support proactive mitigation and network disruption, NCITE scientists have identified key characteristics and warning indicators of innovation within cartel networks. This webinar will also cover NCITE research on the threat horizon, characterizing pathways by which cartel tactical capabilities may be extended into special operations.
