About

The Gertrude C. Ford Ole Miss Student Union offers Event Monitor Training to ensure students feel confident and prepared to help host safe, inclusive, and well-managed events.

Event Monitors are required for any events where alcohol is present and/or when the anticipated attendance is 150 or more. For events that meet this criteria, there must be at least one trained Event Monitor for every 50 guests in attendance at any given time.

Once a student completes the Event Monitor Training, they are certified to serve in that role for the remainder of the academic year. Please note that first-year members are not eligible to serve as Event Monitors.

Please limit the attendance of your student organization to 12 members for each training.
