About

The Hofstra University Pep Band would like to invite all first and second year students to an open rehearsal to explore the opportunity to join our fantastic organization. We encourage any students who may have played a band instrument in high school (woodwind or brass) to join us for a special rehearsal in Shapiro Hall's large rehearsal space on the basement floor.

All current Music Education students are also encouraged to attend in order to explore a secondary instrument or simply try a new performing ensemble that encourages fun and excitement while supporting our great university's spirit.

The University Pep Band supports many athletic events on campus as well as several on-campus and off-campus events throughout each semester encouraging school spirit.
