About
Cornell’s AI Undergraduate Fellows Program studies how generative AI is shaping student learning inside and outside the classroom. In this session, we will share preliminary results from more than 200 student surveys and 20+ interviews, covering how students use AI, how course policies shape that use, and how students see AI preparing them for their careers. We will then lead a discussion of what these early findings mean for teaching and learning at Cornell. We’d love your feedback, especially on what instructors would find most useful to learn from this research as we finalize our findings for the Spring 2027 event.
As a reminder, these monthly lunches provide an opportunity to learn more about GenAI as it applies to multiple disciplines, hear what other instructors have tried, and to ask questions and share ideas. This series is co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching Innovation and the Sue G. and Harry E. Bovay Program in the History and Ethics of Professional Engineering.
Registration is required to attend this event, as the room space is limited.
