Ways to better understand needs and boundaries in relationships,Strategies to effectively communicate with others, andCommon sources of conflict and useful conflict management skills. You may choose to attend part or all of each workshop series, as your schedule allows.

To join, simply click the Comet Calendar link at the start time. If you’d like reminders and an easier check-in, you can also message us at sccgroups@utdallas.edu to be added to the roster.

Our workshops provide education and practical tools for managing common mental health concerns, similar to a training or class. Even though they are led by one of our therapists, workshops are not the same as therapy groups, as they are focused on learning and practicing skills rather than in-depth therapeutic process. All workshops are open to UTD students, and no group screening is required.
