About
If sleeping is on your list of things you’ll finally do after graduation, this session is for you.
Join B.A.L.A.N.C.E. for a practical virtual workshop focused on sleep hygiene and strategies graduate students can use to get more restful and consistent sleep now. Participants will explore how everyday habits, routines, stress, screen use, caffeine, and the sleep environment can affect sleep quality.
The session is designed to provide realistic strategies that can fit into demanding graduate and professional schedules and help support energy, concentration, academic performance, and overall well-being.
The workshop will be led by Arica Washington, MPH, Senior Program Coordinator.
B.A.L.A.N.C.E. is a collaborative graduate student well-being initiative of the Graduate Student Association, UGA Graduate School, and University Health Center, focusing on Body movement, Awareness, Learning, Adaptability, Networking & relationships, Coping strategies, and Emotional well-being.
