About
This is a **Cultural WellCore** event hosted by Belmont RUF.
In the late 1990s, there arose a movement that in many ways was a reaction to the “seeker-sensitive” worship model that prevailed in many evangelical churches. The movement originated in RUF groups on college campuses, mostly in the Southeast, and the Belmont group became most influential when it released the first Indelible Grace project in 2000. They have since released 12 projects, including a documentary film of their 2010 concert at the historic Ryman Auditorium. At this event, we will sing many of the retuned hymns that emerged from this movement, and Kevin Twit (RUF Campus Minister and founder of Indelible Grace Music) will share the stories behind the hymns and explore why students have resonated with this movement.
Rev. Kevin Twit is a member of the Hymn Society and will be teaching the Hymnology course at Belmont in the Spring of 2027.
