About

This contemporary modern class combines the Limón principles of gravity, suspension and breath with the soulfulness and technicality of Tracey Durbin's modern jazz style. Dancers will be led through a full-body warm-up, followed by a series of static and traveling exercises designed to nurture connection to breath, fluidity and musicality. This expansive class encourages dancers to find freedom through weighted movement and inspires exploration, expression and play.

This free class is part of the Department of Performing Arts and Technology's Master Class Series and is open to NC State students, staff and faculty. Advance registration is highly recommended.
