Residents will participate in a fall-themed phone charm/ bracelet-making bar where they can create personalized bracelets using beads, letter beads, and charms. The program will take place in Tukwut on 11/13 at 5:30pm. Residents will have the opportunity to socialize, connect with resources SLIC has to offer, teach one another different techniques, and build connections with their neighbors in a fun, creative environment.

Three Learning Outcomes • Residents will practice collaborative learning by sharing design ideas with another participant.

• Residents will strengthen their interpersonal connections by interacting with peers and helping one another create personalized bracelets.

• Residents will identify at least one way to continue building a positive and supportive community with SLIC.

Connection to the Curriculum Domain Domain: Collaborative Leadership

This program aligns with Collaborative Leadership by encouraging residents to work together, exchange creative ideas, and learn new skills from one another. Through sharing bracelet-making techniques and assisting their peers, residents will practice cooperation and communication while building relationships within their residential community, as well as learning information from SLIC and how they can get more involved on campus, or what resources SLIC has to offer. The activity demonstrates how collaboration can create a welcoming environment where everyone can contribute and learn from others.

I plan to use bracelet making supplies from the UVA, so I won't be buying anything.
