About
Connecting Without the Mask is a welcoming, neurodiversity-affirming group for neurodivergent college students who want to build meaningful connections while learning more about themselves and others. This isn't about changing who you are or teaching you to "act neurotypical." Instead, we'll explore social experiences through the lens of neurodiversity, celebrate individual strengths, and develop practical strategies that support authentic relationships.
Topics may include, but are not limited to, friendships and relationships, masking, neurotypical expectations, rejection sensitivity, building confidence, navigating misunderstandings, dysregulation, and burnout.
We will connect with one another through conversation, psychoeducation, and activities/games.
Please contact Tracey Swain, LCSW at swaint@rowan.edu to register.
Location: Center for Neurodiversity (Laurel Hall)
Time: 1-2pm
Starts: Mondays starting 9/28/26
