About
This workshop will help TRiO SSS students become familiar with campus safety resources, student support services, and strategies for asking for help. Students will learn where to find information about the SAFE App, the Dean of Students, CARE resources, the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), and other relevant campus services. We will help students identify which offices to contact for different concerns, understand how to access support, and practice identifying appropriate next steps when they or another student need assistance. The workshop will also introduce wellness-related resources, including MOSAIC sensory resources, and encourage students to consider healthy technology habits and phone-free study strategies. Crisis and emergency resources will be presented with clear guidance on when and how to use them.
The room has space for 20 TRiO SSS students to attend this workshop in person. All additional RSVPs will join virtually. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent prior to the start of the workshop.
